The Beatles.
I dont get it.
I have spent the last 13 years of my life having Beatle's music shoved down my throat.
And all in a sudden, last year, i actually began to enjoy it.
And as of Last week, i'm completely obsessed. I have no idea why! Its quite strange...
Some of my favorite Songs at the moment include:
1. Strawberry Fields
2. Come Together
3.Let it Be
3. Revolution
4. 8 Days a Week
5. All You Need Is Love
6. Obla Di Obla Da
7.Eleanor Rigby
8. Maxwell's Silver Hammer
9.Michelle
10. We Can Work It Out.
And i couldn't help but notice as i scrolled through the countless pictures that appeared on google images, I noticed they had a very classy, simple look. But I also couldn't help but notice the fact that when they were animated, they were very colorful, just like on the cover of Sg Pepper's Lonely Hearts club Band.
Maybe one day I should try and channel the Beatles as i get dressed in the morning...
Denim on Denim? Ew. But i Love the white suit.
Okay, this is SO following the whole Spring Colors trend. of course, it had nothing to do with that a the time, but the colors, the flowers, how can you NOT think of spring fashion placed onto marching band outfits? [awkward haha]
I dont have much to say about this. It is just there, and crazy. The colors remind me of fall, so if this fall, crazy mismatched stripeyness comes in style, i'll know where to look for inspiration.

Purim.
I;m sorry to inform you,
that all the suspense and anticipation from you guys to see my costume
and the anticipation from me to wear it.
it wasn't that big of a hit.
i mean i knew it wasnt some amazing costume, but i expected more.
it was simply the icing on the cake for my mediocre week.
consisitng of...
Leah getting the hair cut i wanted.
not being allowed to get the twiggy cut.
getting a haircut im not that thrilled about.
messing up my megilla reading at school.
forgettiing to do my math homework, and getting in toruble.
tellng the boy i like, who knows i like him that i dont like him.
eating too much.
my costume being bad, compared to leah's.
i feel like everything i do, everyone likes what Leah does better. [sorry you hafta read all this leah...]
its just so unfair.
ughhhhhhhhhh.
i sorry shes some exotic asian beauty, and i cant compre, but thats not my fault.
oh well, here is my new haircut, i am trying to convinve my mom to take me back in to get the cut i originally wanted, since i look 40 with this hair...
i would like to have this hair, but would it look good? idk.
Now about Purim....
i chose to be twiggy, i thought my costume was pretty nifty, ya know?
well apparently not.
my friends liked it, but thats their job.
only one guy knew who twiggy was, when this other guy asked who i was supposed to be i told him twiggy and he said.
"your dressed as a stick?"
one girl liked my dress. not the costume, the dress.
one teacher thought i ws dressed at sarah jessica parker, and when i told him i was twiggy, he said "shes too skinny" and a guy friend of mine yelled out "finally someone agrees with me!"
And those where the responses.
And i got 2 compliments o my hair, discluding those from friends. 2!
Well here are some pictures, Leah dressed in her dazzling Audrey Hepburn outfit. Outshining me completely. *sigh*
oh well. Emily's hippie costume got ZERO compliments/remarks, same with hannah's.
My costume- emulating this outfit...
Me and Leah [aka Audrey Hepburn]
Me and My Gals [Emily- Hippie, Me- Twiggy, Leah- Audrey Hepburn, Hannah- rainbow/ skittles/ rainbow brite/gay pride]

Zac Posen Pre Fall
"The dresses are just AMAZING." gushed Leah.
"Gorgous, you need to see them, the Pre Fall Zac Posen Collection."
Leah isnt the type that cares ever so slightly about the latest runway shows, so hearing this from her assured me, this had to be good.
And For once, Leah was right. I loved the dresses, the whole collection was lovely.
Zac said the theme of his collection was "poodle ballet" that already sounds amazing to me, but the way he did it, it wasnt too strange, puffy, or "poodly" But the colors, the ideas, they where all simple, wearable, but still high fashion.
A few of my favorite looks:
.
This dress, in a way, reminds me of the Jessica Mcclintock dresses all the aberzombies wear to prom, but it catches my eye in a way those dresses dont. Maybe its the colors, or the thought and detail put into it, that you wone be getting on a $100 dress. It like a prom dress, but upgraded.
Wow. This top, this top is just so, wow. The colors are beautiful together, and very random, not used much elsewhere in the collection. Which i like. It looks almost like she is a "forest fairy" with leaves drped over her chest. Very different compared to the charcoal greys we expect from spring [like in the Akris Collection ]
And although i cant afford it, i have a good feeling that before i know it, forever21 will have their own version of this top.
When i think of fall, i think of, cold breezes, chilly nights, and what better for a time like that, than this adorable look? It looks extremely comfy, like a wool sweatshirt, but still fashionable. the Perfect blend.
here we go, a soft ballerina pink. on a simple satin dress, with totally awesome details. It almost reminds me of something Jackie Kennedy/ Jackie O would have worn. And the little bow in the middle is just the icing on the cake [or should I say bow on the present?]
My favorite of the collection. simple, elegant, a little bit funky. what more can we ask for? Without the coverup, it would be bit dull, but the coverup with the sheer, matador type sleeves really shakes things up.
Overall collection rating: 9 [loved it, but could get a little too plain]
P.S- Dont forget to vote in my poll below.

Cruella De Vil, Cruella De Vil.
"If She Doest Scare you, no evil thing will."
Well yes, the multi colored hair, IS a bit frightening...
but you have to giver her props for not being afraid to rock the fur, even with all the fur controversy
Her and PETA suuuuuure wouldn't get along.
But hey, if it wern't for her hatred towards cute innocent puppies, i'm sure we might just look up to her, just a little, for her fashion sense. It is very classic, rich woman. haha.
I am planning on being Cruella for Purim, a jewish holiday where we dress up, yay!
and Leah, who just made a blog, its in my links list, will be Aurey Hepburn. Yum,
i'll make sure to post pics, since purim is only 10 days away.
Well i decided to make a Cruella De Vil outfit on polyvore.
the one the left is the more classic,
and the one on the right is slightly more modernized and a bit less tacky.
Well Disney. thank you for including some tacky, but still classic like fashion.
Although...
I wish she would add some pearsl.

Things to do in the SNOW:
Saturday was RUINED,
well, for the most part,
at least until night time, when Kali came over.
We where snowed in all day,
it was illegal to drive most of the day.
so i wasted my saturday,
but this is what me and kali where able to do in the snow:
Light fire to a stick in the middle of the snow
"attempt" to make a snow fort
Snow Angels
make Snow maple candies
Sled
sled on my mom's real estate signs
Try to make a snowman
Jump on giant snow mounds and make slam dunks in my baksetball hoop
exciting, huh?
then we watched The Hills Have EyesAfter drinking our diet swiss miss.
It was a dumb movie,
we had to pee during the entire thing.
unfortunatly,
i didnt wear anything nice all weekend,
cuz we had like afoot of snow,
and i ate like so much junk food.
ewwww.
AND power of the pen got mvoed to next week cuz of the snow,
i have to wait another week to see if i made it to the next round,
arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I'm so behind.
I FINALY Got around to checking out the couture collections
sheesh, i'm slow.
So here is what i have to say about a few of them:
Anne Valérie Hash- Wow! A couture collection, that for the most part... can actually be worn! [Of course, we all love the crazy, creativity put into couture dresses, but its just refreshing to see actual clothes] Besides the black sheer dresses. I m normally fan of sheer things, and showing of the human body, which is art itself. But to me, the black sheer dress seemed almost, well, trashy, AND cheap!
surprisingly, though, my favorite look also included sheer, but it was only a sheer top, and it covers you in just the right places:
And i just felt the need to add in this dress, since i love the color. Its the only bright yellow garment in the collection:
Overall, i liked the collection quite a bit. It was very practical, yet still completely adorable.
Chanel- As always, the chanel suits where cute and classic. But I am still in awe about the fact that all the model's feet where adorned with... FLATS! It gave off a very stumpy look.
I normally like crazy things, some of these dresses where just to crazy for my taste:
the black dress reminded me of playing dress up as a child, and the white one was just very ill-fitted. [is that a phrase?] and the last was just odd. And reminded me of a Seahorse.
As i said before though, there where some nice, classic yet creative suits, and there where quite a few dresses that i absolutely adored, heres a few:
Christian Lacroix-
I'm usually a fan of Christian Lacroix, but i though this season the collection was too awkward and mis-matched. Each outfit made me feel as though they MUST have been designed in the dark. what do you think?
I was a huge fan of the Valentino Final Collection, it seemed to vary quite a bit from outfit to outfit, almost as though he wanted to please everyone with his final collection. All the pastels where stunning, and it was all so ladylike, i loved it all!
.
In fact, there was only one dress i wasn't completely in love with, it had too much of an old fashioned, Souhern Belle, look to it, far to costumy:
Ellie Saab:
Sure, the first few looks where gorgeous, but the collection was very monotanous, and i was soon bored with the repeating cuts, and all the bling. A few Dresses like this would have been great, but it just seemed to be a sparkle overload...
there where also many slightly bedazzled, colorful gowns, but they where for the most part in my opinion, very much a-like. But in every collection there is always at least one dress you have to love, and in the Ellie Saab collection, this is it.
And My Favorite [actually, probably everyone's favorite}:
Christian Dior- I completely loved it! Everything. I was all so colorful, and ll the different silhouettes where magnificent, and don't forget all the intricate beading.
Dior=Love.
p.s- don't forget the hats, i want one!
.
Ahh, how nice it would be to be a couture designer. In constant competition to see who can be the most absolute ridiculous, crazy, and weird.
I'd so win in that type of contest.
=D
